Google wants more Intel inside ... its datacenters, taps Chipzilla for more SmartNICs

Google is increasing its collaboration with Intel by purchasing SmartNICs for its public cloud infrastructure, avoiding the development of proprietary solutions like AWS's Nitro NICs. Intel's custom ASIC business is growing rapidly, reaching a $1B annual revenue pace.
