Vector

The Nexus’s specialized beats. Each tracker pulls from its own canonical sources, applies its own editorial framing, and renders against the same Nexus design system. Click any tracker to enter that beat.

Raw, lightly-formatted mirrors of public databases. No editorial voice; the Nexus value is the rolling timeline, the cross-source filters, and the same design system applied to ugly government data.

What is Vector?

Most news happens once and moves on. Some categories of story keep generating new instances forever: ransomware claims a new victim every few hours, public-corruption indictments come down somewhere in the US almost daily, private-fraud enforcement actions move through DOJ, SEC, CFTC, FTC and state AGs every week, PRC-linked activity recurs across espionage, narcotics, and political-influence beats year after year.

Vector splits into two layers. The editorial beats . China Watch, Underground, Graft, Grift, are curated, classified by The Nexus, and refreshed with weekly synthesis. The data feeds are raw mirrors of public databases that journalists, analysts, and compliance teams already rely on but rarely see surfaced in one place.

All of it feeds into the wider Nexus signal: cases and filings show up in Briefing summaries, Grid storylines, and Watchlist alerts. Vector is where each beat gets the room to be itself.
