Trump expected to nominate ousted FEMA chief to lead agency again

Donald Trump is expected to nominate Cameron Hamilton, the former acting FEMA administrator, to lead the agency again. Hamilton was removed from his position in May 2025 after testifying to Congress that he opposed eliminating the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
