Meet Analilia Mejia, the Sanders-AOC backed progressive who just won election to Congress

Analilia Mejia, a progressive backed by Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, won a special election in New Jersey's 11th Congressional District, defeating Republican Joe Hathaway. Her platform included Medicare for All, a $25 minimum wage, and abolishing ICE. She will serve the remaining eight months of Gov. Mikie Sherrill's term.
