Alec Baldwin to face civil trial over Rust shooting in October after manslaughter case was dismissed

Alec Baldwin will face a civil trial in October 2023 over the Rust movie set shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, following the dismissal of a manslaughter case against him. The civil trial will address claims of liability for the accidental shooting in 2021.
