Atlassian’s new data collection policy protects rich customers while AI eats the rest

Atlassian will begin collecting customer metadata by default starting August 17, 2023, unless users pay for the most expensive enterprise license or are legally restricted. Customers without top-tier licenses cannot fully opt out of data collection for AI training.
