‘Lego bandit’ accused in bizarre $34K scheme replacing minifigures with pasta

Jarrelle Augustine, a 28-year-old man from Paramount, California, is accused of stealing LEGO sets from Target, removing valuable minifigures, and replacing them with dried pasta in a $34,000 scheme. Irvine police linked him to 70 thefts nationwide and arrested him on grand theft charges.
