Obama says Higher Ground production company to go independent

Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama's production company, Higher Ground, will become independent after an eight-year partnership with Netflix. Obama confirmed the transition during a Saturday interview with historian Jon Meacham at a Philadelphia event commemorating America’s 250th anniversary.
