2 residents escape Canoga Park apartment fire through 1st-floor window

A fire broke out in a two-story apartment building in Canoga Park at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday, starting on the first floor and spreading to the unit above. Two residents escaped through a first-floor window, and firefighters are investigating the cause.
