Tillis urges DOJ to end Powell probe, clear way for Warsh

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) urged the Department of Justice to end its investigation into Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to facilitate the Senate confirmation of Kevin Warsh, President Trump’s nominee to lead the central bank. Tillis threatened to withhold his support if the DOJ does not act.
