Los Angeles becomes the first major school district to require screen time limits

Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has become the first major school district to implement screen time limits for students. The policy was highlighted during a 2022 visit by then-superintendent Alberto Carvalho to a computer science class in Maywood, California.
