Thune nudges Trump to "wrap up" Fed probe

Senate Majority Leader John Thune is urging the Trump administration to conclude a Federal Reserve investigation to facilitate Kevin Warsh's confirmation as Fed chair. The nomination is stalled due to a standoff between Trump, current Fed chair Jerome Powell, and outgoing Sen. Thom Tillis, who refuses to support Warsh until the DOJ investigation into Powell ends.
