Transient charged with murder after 84-year-old set on fire in downtown L.A.

A transient was charged with murder after allegedly beating and setting fire to an 84-year-old man with dementia in downtown Los Angeles. The victim died the day after the attack, as confirmed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
