Guatemalan man charged with child porn possession released by Fairfax County despite ICE detainer, DHS says

A Guatemalan man, Roni Mendez-Escobar, was arrested by ICE after being released by Fairfax County authorities despite being charged with possessing child pornography. He had been previously deported three times and was among a series of illegal immigrants linked to crimes in Fairfax County, including murder and child abuse.
