Epstein fallout grows as DOJ watchdog digs deeper into handling of the case

The DOJ's internal watchdog is auditing whether the department complied with the Epstein Files Transparency Act in releasing records related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. The investigation follows criticism over transparency and leadership changes, including the firing of former Attorney General Pam Bondi.
