Ice block stalls hundreds of Everest climbers at base camp

A large unstable ice block (serac) above Mount Everest's base camp has delayed hundreds of climbers and local guides. Officials from Nepal's mountaineering department deemed the route between base camp and camp one too risky, with Himal Gautam confirming the assessment.
