Remains of teen found at Ventura County dump site in 1993 cold case identified

The remains of a teen found at a Ventura County dump site in 1993 have been identified as Joseph Patrick Reardon, also known as Joe Gilbreth, after more than three decades. The identification was announced by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. The case is now resolved after a long period of uncertainty.
