Macron calls for Strait of Hormuz to reopen, says he talked with Iranian president

French President Emmanuel Macron called for the Strait of Hormuz to reopen due to its closure leaving oil and cargo vessels stranded amid a fragile ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran. Macron met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss the matter. The closure has been in effect for two months.
