Pirro ‘not surprised’ after DC officers placed on leave amid crime stats probe

More than a dozen Washington, D.C., police officers were placed on leave amid an internal investigation into alleged manipulation of crime statistics. U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro stated she was not surprised by the development. The investigation began in August.
