Head of Microsoft’s Israel branch to step down after inquiry into dealings with Israeli military

The head of Microsoft's Israel branch is stepping down after an inquiry into the company's business dealings with the Israeli military. The inquiry was launched in response to a Guardian investigation that revealed the military used Microsoft technology to support mass surveillance of Palestinian phone calls. Microsoft ordered the inquiry last year.
