Anger as swifts’ nesting holes in Derbyshire rail viaduct ‘blocked up’

Swifts returning to Britain face challenges as nesting holes on a Derbyshire railway viaduct were blocked during a £7.5m refurbishment. Campaigners urge Network Rail to unblock three of nine nesting sites at Chapel Milton, near the Peak District, to prevent harm to the birds.
