STAT+: Eli Lilly tops prominent rankings on pharma R&D performance

Eli Lilly ranked first in both innovation and invention categories in a pharmaceutical R&D performance index produced by IDEA Pharma. The index ranks drug companies based on criteria such as revenue from new products and R&D investment. This is the first time one company has topped both categories.
