Man charged with felony hate crime for attacking Jewish man near L.A. synagogue

A 21-year-old man, Semaj De Leone James, was charged with a felony hate crime for allegedly attacking a Jewish man near a Los Angeles synagogue. He was arrested on May 19 by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office, which filed the charge as part of its investigation.
