Sex therapist accused of antisemitism loses Democratic runoff for Texas House seat

Progressive sex therapist Maureen Galindo lost the Democratic runoff for Texas’ 35th District after facing accusations of antisemitism and condemnation from her party. Johnny Garcia, backed by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and major endorsements, defeated Galindo, who claimed her controversial comments were misinterpreted.
