Ukraine Launches First War-Risk Insurance Payouts as 4 Kyiv Firms Cut Premium Costs by Two-Thirds
Ukraine’s Export Credit Agency has made its first war-risk insurance payouts under a state subsidy program, with four Kyiv-based companies receiving Hr. 6.8 million in compensation. The program, established via Cabinet Resolution No. 1541, reduced insurance costs for businesses from 4.24% to 1.19%, and the ECA has received 40 applications covering Hr. 4.3 billion in assets.
