Chicago cop killing suspect sent back to jail by judge who previously freed him under controversial bail law
A Chicago police officer's killer, Alphanso Talley, was returned to jail after being released on electronic monitoring under Illinois' SAFE-T Act, which eliminated cash bail. Judge John Lyke Jr., who authorized Talley's release, now faces criticism after Talley allegedly committed the murder while unaccounted for in the monitoring system.
