Nintendo confirms it will sell a new Switch 2 with replaceable battery in the EU
Nintendo will sell a new Switch 2 in the EU with replaceable batteries to comply with an upcoming EU regulation. The regulation, effective February 18, 2027, requires portable game consoles to have user-replaceable batteries.
