Last surviving 'Rosie the Riveters' honored by WWII Museum on D-Day Anniversary: 'We can do it'

The National WWII Museum in New Orleans honored over 30 surviving 'Rosie the Riveters' on the 82nd anniversary of D-Day for their contributions to the Allied war effort. The women, recognized during the Dr. Hal Baumgarten D-Day Commemoration, received the 2026 American Spirit Award alongside John Williams and Steve Gleason.
