Central Asia tipped to be Hong Kong’s next logistics hub: Airport Authority head
Central Asia is positioned to become a strategic logistics hub for Hong Kong due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Europe, with cargo volume between Hong Kong and two Central Asian countries increasing nearly fivefold year on year. Hong Kong airport passenger traffic is projected to reach 70 million this year, nearing pre-Covid levels.
