Marcel Hug wins 9th Boston Marathon wheelchair title, Eden Rainbow-Cooper is women’s champ

Marcel Hug of Switzerland secured his ninth Boston Marathon wheelchair title in 2026 with an unofficial time of 1:16:06, narrowly missing his course record. Eden Rainbow-Cooper won the women’s wheelchair division for the second time, finishing in 1:30:51. The race faced the coldest start since 2018, with temperatures in the 30s at the start in Hopkinton.
