UK to appeal against tax ruling cutting VAT on public electric car chargers to 5%

HMRC will appeal a London tax tribunal's decision to reduce VAT on public electric car chargers from 20% to 5%, following a successful challenge by not-for-profit company Charge My Street. The ruling found the government had overcharged for years under the law.
