OpenAI is introducing cloud-based 'workspace' agents in ChatGPT for Business, Enterprise, Edu, and Teachers plans, enabling teams to automate tasks like generating product feedback reports in Slack or drafting sales emails in Gmail. The move follows rising interest in AI agents, highlighted by the viral success of OpenClaw, an AI agent previously developed by Peter Steinberger, who now works at OpenAI.
