Family of ailing Iranian Nobel laureate say keeping her in jail is a death sentence

The family of jailed Iranian Nobel laureate Narges Mohammadi fears for her life due to a severe health decline, suspected heart attack, and 20kg weight loss. She was re-arrested in December 2025 after a brief 2024 release for health reasons and is now held in Zanjan central prison.
