US teens getting less sleep than ever, new report finds

A new study from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health found that US teenagers are sleeping less than ever before, with only 22% of older adolescents sleeping at least seven hours each night. The decline in sleep is attributed to factors such as homework, social pressure, jobs, screen time, and social media. The findings were published in Pediatrics.
