Charities decry UK plan to use AI to assess age of young asylum seekers

A coalition of over 100 refugee children's organizations has criticized the UK's plan to use AI facial age estimation technology to assess the age of young asylum seekers, warning it could lead to children being wrongly placed in adult detention facilities.
