Pentagon’s watchdog named as Iran war lead inspector

The Pentagon’s Inspector General, Platte B. Moring III, has been designated as the lead inspector to probe the U.S. war with Iran by Cheryl L. Mason, chair of the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency. The announcement was made by the Defense Department’s Office of Inspector General.
