LA-area city sees first voter-approved measure to ban data centers

Voters in Monterey Park, Calif., approved a measure to ban data centers, making it the first U.S. city to enact such a prohibition via voter approval. Approximately 86 percent of voters supported the measure in Tuesday’s election.
