Officials explain bill that would replace energy company

Central Hudson provides electricity and natural gas to over 405,000 customers in the Capital Region and northern Westchester County. New York assemblymember Sarahana Shrestha has introduced a bill to establish the Hudson Valley Power Authority, which would replace the existing utility company.
