'Several' killed as fire erupts in vehicle on Islamabad-Murree Expressway: highway police

Several people died after a fire erupted in a Hiace van on the Islamabad-Murree Expressway near Khajut. The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) confirmed the incident, initiated rescue efforts, and launched an investigation to determine the cause. Heavy traffic on the expressway was previously reported due to reconstruction work on Murree Road.
