Dairy farmers sue Trump administration over checkoff program
Three Wisconsin farmers sued the Trump administration for requiring dairy producers to submit operational data and pay mandatory fees to the Dairy Checkoff Program. The program collects 15 cents per 100 pounds of milk sold to fund promotion and research, with dairy importers paying 7.5 cents.
