Don’t panic if you see a snake on a Chinese power line. It might be a robot

Robotic snakes are being used in Kunming, Yunnan to inspect power lines and ensure stable electricity during China’s national college entrance exam. The devices detect hazards like broken wires and abnormal temperatures, with over 130km of lines already checked by the Guandu district power supply bureau.
