Emergency hospital admissions fell after introduction of London’s T-charge and Ulez, study suggests
A study by Imperial College scientists found that emergency hospital admissions in central London decreased after the introduction of the T-charge and Ultra-Low Emissions Zone (Ulez). Previous research linked similar pollution reduction zones to lower GP visits for respiratory and heart issues and reduced sick leave in central London.
