Gombe Rep dies after brief illness, Speaker Abbas, House mourn

Yaya Tongo, who represented Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency in Gombe State and chaired the Nigeria–United Arab Emirates Parliamentary Friendship Group, died after a brief illness. Speaker Abbas and the House expressed mourning over his death.
