The International Committee of the Red Cross warns that thousands of Palestinians buried in Gaza’s rubble may never be identified as recovery efforts remain slow and bodies risk decomposition or skeletonization. ICRC spokesperson Pat Griffiths stated that delays in retrieving remains increase identification challenges.
