UT fires public radio station leader who challenged university statements about festival security

University of Texas (UT) fired Debbie Hiott, the leader of public radio station KUT, after she challenged the university's statements regarding festival security. Hiott, a KUT General Manager, had addressed attendees at the KUT Festival at the Lady Bird Johnson Auditorium in the LBJ Library in Austin.
