Louisiana courts more voting system vendors ahead of 2028 elections
Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry is reopening the certification process for voting system vendors to replace the state’s 35-year-old machines ahead of the 2028 elections. The deadline for applications is July 2, with six previously certified vendors already approved, but Landry is allowing new vendors and updated systems to apply again.
