Pasadena Ramps Up July 4 Fireworks Crackdown With Expanded Patrols, Thousands of Inspections
Pasadena is intensifying its Fourth of July fireworks enforcement with expanded patrols and thousands of inspections. The Verdugo Fire Investigation Task Force confiscated 25,000 pounds of illegal fireworks in 2026, a significant increase from 128 pounds in 2025. The city’s mitigation plan will be presented to the Public Safety Committee on June 17.
