Loop restaurant fire sends smoke billowing through high-rise roof; no one hurt
A kitchen fire at Wilma's Famous BBQ in a high-rise building on 17 N. Wabash Ave. caused smoke to billow through the roof but no injuries were reported. Firefighters extinguished the fire, inspected a ventilation shaft, and did not order an evacuation. The cause remains under investigation.
