UFO Bar and Spot Lite in Detroit announce closures at the end of the month

UFO Bar in Corktown and Spot Lite on Detroit's east side will close by June 30 and June 28, respectively. The owners cited a decision to 'move away from nightlife' and announced plans for a new record store and cocktail bar, Detroit Vinyl Bar, at UFO Bar's location. Cairo Coffee, based at Spot Lite, will remain open temporarily during its relocation.
