Tamil Nadu’s own-tax effort has ‘collapsed’, says White Paper
Tamil Nadu's own tax revenue ratio (SOTR-to-GSDP) declined from 5.93% to 5.45% over five years, marking the lowest in the state's history and the steepest decline among benchmarked peer states, according to a White Paper.
